Hello to all, I am finally 99% recovered from the two surgeries I underwent for bilateral femur fractures probably due to Fosamax. I have some discomfort in my right upper thigh which my Dr. states could be bursitis. He recommends naproxsyn twice a day. I can't really say it helps but I can live with the discomfort. How I feel one year after surgery will be benchmark and that will be February, 2010. I can walk 2 miles in 36 minutes on a treadmill which is very good for me. I don't waddle and the pain in my back has improved. It was a slow process but everyday was better than the last. I am so grateful to the wonderful surgeon I had, especially the Rehab therapist both in and outpatient. Hang in there girls, it can only get better. This was a very unfortunate experience for me, especially since I was not able to get a definitive diagnosis for so many many years from so many many doctors. Most people find my experience hard to believe. I, myself, find it hard to believe. Back to work I go after being out for over one year. Not only was this a painful and slow recovery, but financially it almost put me in the poor house. So many co-pays, so little money. It will take me a few years to catch up. As far as the hospital co-pays, they are getting $25.00 a month for the rest of my life. That's all folks. Cee
