hi all... im 27,after having my 3rd son, in october 2006,during the c-section i was sterilised, i had some tube removed, the ends burnt and tied...in april 2010 last year i found out i was pregnant, i was 9 weeks gone, when i had my scan they found a fetus in my womb with no heartbeat but also a healthy baby outside my womb...(ectopic) during my operation i was sterilised the 2nd time removing over 4cm of tubes my doctor said, the most they could take or i could have to start taking the HRT, 3 months later i had to go back for some test at the hospital i had a scan where they push dye through the uterus to see if the tubes are blocked....or in my case see if my tubes are sealed, it was the worst 2 weeks of my life waiting for the results.. and then my doctor told me that the dye was still spilling out which means if the dye can get out the egg can get in.. he told me i was very fertile, i still dont understand it myself... my doctor has offered for me to have the rest of my tubes removed but he doesnt see the point as he thinks il be in the same situation 6 months down the line... the reason i got sterilised in the first place was so i would never have the worry of being pregnant again, and now am back to the beginning of being careful all over again, im very blessed with the 3 children i have, which 1 of them is disabled, so my life is so busy........ so not everything is 100% but 99.9% of women that get sterilised will not get pregnant and those 1% will.....
