I had my mirena put in 3 1/2 years ago. I have had miserable cramping which is getting worse, breast lumps, ovarian cysts and pain even when they are not there. I have been to the ER several times with what they thought was appendicitis but the only thing tests would show is my mirena. I am having it removed in several days and I think now everything is making sense from the pain to low sex drive to my cramping. I never thought this would be the cause of all my issues. I even dieted and exercised and would gain weight rather than lose. I am calling my Dr. to see if the appointment can be moved up. This was the biggest mistake I ever made and thank you to those who posted these comments because now this all finally makes sense! The one thing you thought was safe and a good decision has been the cause of most of the issues in my life.
