That's what happened to ME about a week after the flu shot. I thought I had pulled a muscle, but it didn't get better; it got WORSE. Severe pain at night keeping me up, waking me up, feeling awful all day at work and felt annoyed because of the pain. Then the red rash came exactly where the pain was on my right upper torso, slightly itchy but painful.
