Wow Amy, Very interesting that you are the only person in this forum that has made and stated this connection with the Guilain-Barre Syndrom, flu vacine & shingles. And find it even more interesting that it seems even doctors aren't aware of the connection or you would think they would ask a patient that they are treating with the shingles condition if they have had a flu short with-in a couple of weeks of coming down with the condition. And, then inform them that it is possible it could be a side effect of the vacine, instead of telling the patient its usually caused by stress or something tramatic in their life that has happened that activated the dormat virus.
I just wonder how many more thousands of people the flu vaccine has activated this virus. I mean we are only a few that have been courious enough to get on the computer and ask the question "can the flu vaccine cause shingles" and come across this site.
