I posted in sept. 10. I have been back to see the wound care nurse and my surgeon who assures me that i am healing, just very slowly! I am also triple negative and this is my second diagnosis, with lumpectomy, chemo and radiation in 08. i had a recurrance in july of this year in the same breast and had a total mastectomy on aug. 5. The radiation is what damaged the tissue in my breast and made it almost impossible to heal. I am now waiting for the go ahead to start chemo again, which is my only option as i am triple neg. it is so frustrating-im ready for it all to be over again, as its getting pretty old.my prayers to everyone, and keep your chins up!
