I haven't used SottoPelle, but I'll be very interested in what people think about it who have tried it.

Like you, Barbara, I'm 50 and have been in menopause for two years. But looking back now, I can see that I was in pre-menopause for about five or seven years before that, and it made me crazy! The symptoms are so innocuous that you really don't string them all together for a long, long time to figure out what's going on.

It's almost like researching menopause could be a woman's fulltime job. To know what's going on with your body, and why, and then to figure out what to do about it -- HRT or not? Natural remedies or not? How to change exercise, or not? and so on -- offer so many possibilities that it makes your head spin.

I have found Dr. Christiane Northrup's book, The Wisdom of Menopause, to be a wonderful help and reference. It's a large, well-written, informative book that is indexed and thorough. It talks about how our bodies don't need the reproductive functions anymore, and goes through the business of shutting them down in order to devote that energy to our brain, and our wisdom. It's very cool. Here's a link if you'd like to check it out:
