For Hera from annonymous - I had the 2nd implant on 7/27 & felt better after my discussion with the doctor, who agreed that the last testosterone dose was too high after I described the symptoms. He cut it by 40% this time -said that's enough to still help with bone density & cholesterol but not make my sex drive crazy. I got the same amount of estrogen & he said that some women go through it before four months is up & that I can always come in to get a 'booster' before next full injection. He also said the progesterone is the biggest symptomatic issue women have & that it really doesn't provide much benefit other than keeping lining from building up in the uterus. He said there's progesterone tabs one can put under one's tongue which are less intense than the pill form dosage. I'm going this week for an ultrasound to make sure I don't have polyps or fibroids causing spotting before we further discuss the progesterone. I'm very sorry to hear about your issue with the estrogen - sounds like you have a fairly unique body chemistry. Did you have this trouble with the compounded creams? I still slept better on the creams plus they stopped my charly horse/leg cramps. Keep in touch on how you're coming along & I'll do the same.
