Besides the fact that I do not care for seafood, I personally would not try this diet because it sounds too restrictive. Restrictive eating is not part of an overall balanced, healthy lifestyle.

Also, I'm not sure that this diet could be followed consistently and correctly for 28-days, and if someone were able to eat only salmon, green veggies, nuts and berries, it seems as some important foods are missing. (other color veggies, for instance, to make sure a wide spectrum of vitamins and minerals are being consumed, dairy or soy, complex carbohydrates...just to name a few!).

From Science Daily, "As the largest organ in the body, our skin can benefit from the same nutrition we get from foods that have a positive effect on our heart and other major organs."

According to the American Academy of Dermatology, "Eating a variety of healthy foods and drinking plenty of water so the skin stays hydrated should help most people improve the appearance of their skin.” Also important for beautiful skin is to eat a "wide variety of fruits and vegetables, including more dark green and orange vegetables". Eat at least three ounces of whole grain breads, cereals, rice, crackers or pasta; consume calcium-rich foods, and a variety of low-fat or lean meats, poultry and fish."

I think the biggest difference between this information and the 3-day face lift diet is the word "variety".

Other important healthy skin facts for a lifetime (not just 3 days!):
- Protect your skin from sun by decreasing exposure & wear sunscreen daily
- Don't smoke! Smoking accelerates aging of your skin and increases wrinkles.
- Wash your face gently with mild soap and warm (not hot) water
- Moisturize regularly!
