I developed shingles this week, 2wks after taking the flu shot, I developed a sore throat later that night after the shot, which lead to a severe cold and chest infection. Its driving me nuts, I was also unaware that it included the H1N1 strain which he neglected to tell me (after I refused it last year).
I understand that gp's are rewarded for giving a flu shot to the tune of £5.25 from the government. 20 of those a week and he's quids in, along with his massive salary.
