Interesting that you mention lip biting. I thought mine was caused by a cold sore that I would get often when younger almost always at that site. Coincidentally (or maybe not) I too am a lip biter so I was always messing around with the darned thing and just figured that the cold sore had caused it. Now I'm rethinking that. Maybe we are onto something!
