I had the V-Beam Laser. I have had several treatments, four total I believe, the last three were with the V-Beam and scheduled 6 weeks apart (my dermatologist had the laser and it's team brought to his office every 6 weeks). The VL is still there, a little less noticeable but not gone. If I was to get another treatment I am going to ask about the Cutera Laser. Several people who have posted here have had success with it. What type of laser they use may depend on several factors; depth, size, location etc.
I wouldn't worry about the healing process, no one here has posted a horror story. Just keep it well lubricated and you'll be fine.
Your biggest worry should be how are you going to handle looking at that beautiful lip when it is gone?! Good luck and write back and let us know how it went.
