I had surgery done on my venous lake which was rather large. I had it 10 years plus. So far it has been very swollen for 5 days. i was searching for anything I can do to hurry this bruising and swelling up. It has not been painful with the procedure but I will not go out in public yet. I am using arnica pills and the topical under my lip. The bleeding has settled below the lip. I had used ice and still use advil for swelling( practically all of it is gone).I had my surgery done by an Oral Surgeon who is also a plastic surgeon in Stevensville, MD. on the eastern shore.
