Dr. Susan,
Thank you for such a good explanation of probiotics. While I was aware that we needed them, and even aware (somewhat) of what they did, I never could figure out why they seem to be something "new" on the market. Your explanation of differences in preservation of foods made this make sense to me. Thank you!

Can we have too many probiotics in our system? Or does our system know how to balance this?
