I'm sure it will work! Just don't give up when your acne gets worse, it's not a bad sign. Try to find a balance of healthy food, exercise, sunlight, oxygen, positive thinking, water, rest, sleep, love (parents/friends/your partner/strangers).

Food- prefer alkaline food and avoid too much sugar and processed food to minimum
Exercise- yoga does wonders but anything helps, even walking
Sunlight- try sunbathing early in the morning and in the late afternoon
Oxygen- stay outside as much as you can (parks, forest)
Positive thinking- accept who you are, even with your pimples, what is more? trees or birds? are trees less worthy because they can't fly? you are unique and you are meant to be you! :)
Water- drink a glass of water in the morning and before every meal, 10 minutes or so, not after
Rest- don't over exercise/study/think...
Sleep- aim to go to bed at 9pm once in a week and sleep with an opened window, if you are cold use two blankets
Love- forget the past, you can't change it, future might not happen so forgive those who hurt you and try to see good in everyone
