I checked out that site -- it is run by the Pennysaver shopping guide people -- but still want to add a word to the wise.
There are legitimate jobs there -- Avon, for instance. And when you see one posted by a company you trust, you should always just go to that company's site and check it out for yourself.
But that site also has ads for envelope stuffing, surrogate pregnancy and placing calls from home. Some advertise higher rates of pay than you would expect.
Everything Susan said up above should be taken into consideration when you're answering or exploring one of these ads. You should never have to pay money to get information about a job or to get the job itself. And you should never give out personal information over the phone. In times like these, it pays to be twice as careful.
