Most HPT these days say you can take the test anytime of day, but the best concentration of urine (to best detect the pregnancy hormones) may still be first thing in the morning. Drinking lots of water before taking the test would not be recommended (may dilute the urine), and it does not matter what your body temperature is...you either have the pregnancy hormones or not!
