My hubby does this, picks at his eyebrows, and it drives me nuts. I mean, think about it: his eyebrows have to be long enough to twist! I know he'd hate that I mentioned this.
I've tried to help him break this habit, reminding him that he has already created a tiny bald spot (picture combing longer eyebrow hairs over the spot, like some bald fellows comb longer hairs over the top of their heads). I don't think it's a nervous habit, I think it's just fidgeting.
Thank you for sharing your story. It is a little comforting knowing that others out there have a similar compulsion as my hubby's. I just wish I knew how to help him stop.
