I had horrendous hip pain after sex and it turned out I had a labrum tear in my hip. This is not as uncommon as you may think. Many people have knee or back pain (body compensating for hip issue) which is what I had originally (knee pain). I noticed standing for long periods of time or walking was uncomfortable as well. Hip pain during and after sex was pretty bad-an 8 on a scale of 1-10. X-rays and a hip arthrogram confirmed the tear and it required surgery to fix. Not that this is what you have, but you may want to research and see if the symptoms match yours. Good Luck!
