I have a lot of hip pain in the night too. It is not a problem when I'm sleeping alone because I can change positions when it starts to ache.
The problem is when my boyfriend sleeps over and I'm forced to lay straight all night long, with fewer position changes or "spoon" with him and his weight is leaning on my backside. It's so bad sometimes in the morning that it feels like the hip won't support me for a couple of hours.
I guess we're going to have to sleep in separate beds like they did in the 50's. He says that if that's the case, why be together at all.
I'll probably be single pretty soon.................... I'd rather be "pain free & single" than be a cripple with a "good man".
