Disregard the "faint positive" because you looked at the strip the next day. That is not valid. Go with the result you saw immediately after taking the test.
Contact your gynecologist about your concern that this period is not like your usual periods. A blood pregnancy test can be ordered, if your doctor feels that is necessary.
