I am wondering where you heard this information? Did you have a friend who experienced bleeding while pregnant? Was there a miscarriage involved?
As Tina said, a pregnancy does not include bleeding (as heavy as a period, some spotting might be OK, but still needs to be checked by the doctor). If you have a friend who is pregnant and is bleeding as though she has her period, she needs to call her OB/GYN.
