I find it interesting, and encouraging, that this Administration is making an effort to gather public opinion on such an important, albeit ethically challenging, issue. Interesting, because I am skeptical about how much our Federal bureaucracy will actually take public opinion to heart, emphasis on bureaucracy. And encouraging, because the public is being led to believe that our opinion really does count, emphasis on "led to believe." Yes, I'm a die-hard skeptic.
