J.Allen- I found your old posts on the DietPower forum. I spent two hours reading all 68 pages of posts. I agree with so much you have to say. I too suffer from weight gain since my gallbladder was removed in March 2009. I hope you continue to post on this forum.

I have begun taking Bile Salts this past week. I am very curious to see if they will help me. I have been taking a probotic for a few months now but I do not see a difference in my weight and maybe only a slight difference with my digestive problems. My stomach seems upset almost everyday now. I get sharp pains, low in my stomach, and I feel very gassy. I hate feeling this way and hope the bile salts begin to help! I am also very upset with my weight. I have put on more weight since I wrote on here last. I am scared to get on the scale for fear that I will be in the 190's. I am only 4'11. Before my gallbladder was removed I weighed no more than 155, and that was when I thought I was heavy. Now I would love to see the 150's again. I eat very little, maybe only 1000 calories a day. I am only 31 years old and I've yet to have kids. I wish I never had my gallbladder removed! It was the worst decision of my life. Anyhow, I'll keep you guys posted on how the bile salts work for me.
Take Care, Tara
