Anon, on the point of bleeding on one side of the tampon: What is probably happening is that because the tampon is slanted when you put it in, blood naturally flows to the bottom "side" of the tampon. That side gets saturated first, and sometimes when your flow is heavy it's going to flow through instead of slowly seeping up into the top half.

It's only when you take it out that it looks like it's just on one side. It is, but the "side" that is soaking through is the side that is facing downward as you wear it. Does that help?
