I think it sounds high. My initial visit and implantation was around 500. Then when I go back to get the pellets re-inserted it's 250. I am going in to get an additional pellet of estradial and the Dr. told me she was charging me $35 for the pellet so it seems to me that your Dr. is really making a lot of money as the pellets themselves don't sound that expensive and the insertion is certainly not major surgery.
