Hi, Purrfect, and welcome to Empowher.

If I had to make a guess, I would say that your body is still getting used to being in charge of its own hormones instead of having its hormonal changes set for it by the birth control pills you were taking. I remember that it used to take me a couple full months before my cycles seemed back to "normal" whenever I would make a birth control change.

Let's work the numbers to see about the pregnancy possibility. With a period on May 8, these would have been your fertile days:

if your cycle is normally 28 days long: May 15-25, the 23rd most likely
if your cycle is normally 30 days long: May 20-30, the 25th most likely

That's on the outer edge of possibility -- unless you were also having unprotected sex before that second period of spotting started?

I'm glad you visited your doctor; I'm suspecting that it's just your hormones getting organized again. Perhaps next month will be back to normal; do come back and update us!
