Hi, I had a uterine ablation about 8 years ago (when I was 44). It was for treatment of heavy periods. I had light bleeding for nearly 30 days after the procedure. That concerned me, but my gyno said it was nothing to worry about.
I was prescribed Vicodin for about 3 days post op, although my pain was more a discomfort, rather than pain. I had more irritation from the bladder catheter, than from the ablation.
It took about a week for me to regain my strength and feel almost normal. except for the bladder irritation - which resolved in about 15 days. Good luck with your procedure. Heal quickly!
