I also have sticky skin. It started around two months ago and, like others, I first noticed it on my hands when I was drying them. Within a day it was over my whole body - all very sudden. I also have a bad taste and funny feeling in my mouth and wonder if it's related. My doctor doesn't know what it is, and doesn't seem to care. It's good to read these posts and maybe we can figure this out. I've read on the internet that this is a condition that sometimes occurs when taking meds for prostate cancer, which I certainly am not doing. I recently started taking a med for seizures but this isn't listed as a side effect, and my doctor says it can't be related, but I'm not so sure.
