I donated to Locks of Love about three years ago and had the same issue. They say that you will receive a thank you letter when your hair is received, but I never got anything either. I didn't think to call to see if they got it because the ends still had some color, which they said was a no no, but I sent it anyway figuring they could cut out the small parts they couldn't use. Now that I have been checking out this site, I am disappointed that I sent my hair there. I did it because I wasn't aware that there were other places out there. I am about to cut my hair again and will definitely be sending it to one of the other places mentioned...
