Hi, Oksana. Welcome to EmpowHer, and thank you for your questions!!

When you say none of your doctors are concerned that you have PPV, can you write more about that? Did she or he suggest close monitoring?

I thought I'd give you a link to the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) page on the Gardasil vaccine and why it recommends it:

http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd-vac/hpv/hpv-vacsafe-effic.htm

That page also has sections on how the safety of the vaccine is monitored, how adverse side effects are reported, and why they specifically recommend it for girls and women between the ages of 9 and 26. The reason you probably were never offered the vaccine is that "research on how well the vaccine works in older women has just recently begun. The FDA may license the vaccine for these women when there is research to show it is safe and effective for them," according to the page.

How old is your daughter? And do you have specific concerns I could help with?
