I posted on Oct 26. I agree with last post. I will get a flu shot again, but I will DEFINITELY NOT let the nurse give me the shot too high in the arm. As far as the time frame for healing, everyone is different (depending on location of shot, amount of inflammation, time to heal). My discomfort has decreased slightly after 5 weeks. I have read that shoulders are a complex joint and inflammation takes time to heal, so I know I have to be patient. My pain, is less severe and less frequent just this past week than the previous month, so I'm hoping it is on it's way to healing. Also I can move my arm around "a little" more than before. I am doing gentle stretches to keep it from getting stiff. I take Advil when it really bothers me, which does help.
