Hello Anonymous,

When you are under stress, your adrenal glands are designed to secrete the hormone cortisol. Cortisol has a direct impact on the sex hormones estrogen, progesterone, and DHEA. High cortisol levels can cause irregular periods.
Once your stress levels come under control, your periods should return to normal.
