We have all been there one time or another. Just remember to always protect yourself, use condoms and as for forgetting to take your birth control, try to make it a habit. What do you do everyday? We all go to the bathroom usually right when we first wake up, right? Take your birth control at that time. It is helpful to take birth control around the same time daily. That might help you remember.

If you chose to start early on the sexual front, be prepared for the outcomes from your decision. You may become pregnant and STD's are always questionable. I am 32 years old now but I certainly was in your position before. My advise to you is to be informed about your choices, your mate that you chose and always keep yourself first. Trust you.

Our website here has great information on STDs and how to protect yourself. Click here to read more about them

This is just for your information. Empowher is about empowering women and this is certainly important. I hope this doesn't sound like a lecture, just want you to take care of yourself. Smile!
