Judi,

I'm so sorry that you've dealt with this painful journey for so many years.

Dr. Goldstein, as I am sure you were told, is the Director of the Centers for Vulvovaginal Disorders. Have you visited their web site? It's here:

http://www.cvvd.org/

They also link to a 20/20 interview that ABC's Dr. Tim Johnson did with Dr. Goldstein, who also is the author of "Female Sexual Pain Disorders: Evaluation and Management ," the first textbook devoted completely to the diagnosis and treatment of conditions that cause pain during intercourse. It was just released in March of this year, and they link to it on Amazon here:

http://www.amazon.com/Female-Sexual-Pain-Disorders-Evaluation/dp/1405183985/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1236830256&sr=8-1

Are you in an area of the country where you can visit the Centers?

I added Dr. Goldstein's name to your post's title so that others who have seen him might find your post and write about their experience. In the meantime, EmpowHer also has some questions and answers that might be helpful to you:
