i had the flu shot on 10/20/17.. an hour or so later, i felt very weak, hot, tired, nauseous and had body aches all over (predominantly in my lower back). i get the flu shot every year and have never experienced any of these side effects.

the fluish side effects lasted a day. HOWEVER, my lower back is still in pain and seems to have progressively gotten worse. i thought i had perhaps tweaked my back so i went and saw my chiropractor. an adjustment only gave me temporary relief. i randomly wondered if perhaps this could be from the flu shot...

i decided to google flu shot and severe lower back pain and came across this thread as well. i have been icing and stretching, as well as combining heat to my lower back. all of these help, but only for a few minutes, then the throbbing/aching pain comes right back with a vengeance. i’m not sure what else i can do at this point, but the pain is almost debilitating. i have also noticed some weakness/numbness during urination... (i hope it’s because of the muscular issues and not a possibility of GBS as i am reading.)

debating if i should go to an urgent care or possibly the ER. if anybody has any answers or has felt this and has gotten better after more days/time, please let me know.

thank you.
