Another thought. Once you've reached 34lbs or 40 shots you stay on the 500cal diet for 3 days without the shots. The reason for this is it takes some time to get the HCG out of your system, so this step is very important.
Honestly I think this is the hardest part of the protocol, those last 3 days, but it is important to get the remaining HCG out of your body before you start the Atkins portion.
