Bbyboo,

I'm glad you have an appointment with another gynecologist next Tuesday. It's always smart to get a second opinion if you are confused or if you are dissatisfied with your current doctor. However, I want to encourage you to CALL your current gynecologist (the one who hasn't called back), remind her nurse that you really do need her opinion, and ask when she might possibly be able to look at them.

One of the things that may be happening is actually good news -- the doctors are looking at your tests, your ultrasound and your records, they are seeing nothing wrong, and so it becomes a lower priority for them. But yes, you need to keep pushing until you figure out what's going on.

By any chance are you an athlete? Are you underweight?

Has anyone thought to test the levels of your hormones? Estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, possibly even your thyroid hormones, to see if they are within normal ranges? If not, will you also ask the new gynecologist about this possibility?
