I'm sorry you have been having such a difficult time, coupled with the fact that you have an unsympathetic doctor.
If you are able to see another doctor, it sounds like a good idea. You can seek other health care professionals not just for a "second opinion", but also if your current doctor is not meeting your needs as far as patient rapport, sympathy, listening and understanding...those are reasons enough to seek another doctor.
Is your doctor a specialist in fertility? If not, there are MANY doctors who specialize in this area (not just OB/GYN), and may be a better fit for you.
