I am sorry you've had these intense headaches with Yasmin. There are other pills out there that are low on estrogen and mini pills that contain only Progestin. Talk to your doctor about this and perhaps he or she will suggest something else. If you and your significant other are comfortable using condoms then that is okay as well. I just want to point out that Plan B should not be considered a form of birth control because it was created for emergency situations only, not as a regular pill.
Once you come off the pill the side effects should taper off. One pill off the pack should not interfere with your cycle or cause any other side effects. If you continue with these headaches, then I would see a doctor about it. While the headache lasts, try to decrease environmental stimulation and just lay down with the lights off.
