Hi Lynette - This is fascinating data that I think should be taken further. When I lived in Michigan we experienced massive animal and human contamination situation after the fire retardant Polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) was mixed in animal feed and entered humans via the food chain. PBBs are used as flame retardants of the brominated flame retardant group. Birth defects - in both animal and human births - were just one of many negative results. While being near furniture with these types of chemicals isn't the same as ingesting them, I think it should raise some huge reg flags it they are affecting fertility as that indicates some kind of biological interaction is occurring.
