I'm having the same problem and I would like to know what to do about it. At times I can't walk. I have sharp pains in the upper left thigh between the inner thigh and front thigh, very high, possible groin. When I am sitting, it hurts to lift my leg up using my thigh muscles. These sharp pains come and go. I can be walking fine and then my leg gives out because of the sharp pain. It seems like it is worse when I have been sleeping or sitting and then get up and try to walk. Could this be caused by a back being not aligned properly. I have lower back problems (degenerative disc disease) and I have heel spurs. Could they all be related?
