Dear Anon,

I'm sorry to hear your frustration with trying to conceive. I hope I can help you out here...

According to your last menstrual cycles, you have a period cycle around 26-28 days, ovulation for a woman with a 28 day cycle will normally occur within 14 days of your last period. So, for example, if your last menstrual period was Jan 23rd-- on Feb 6th you would be at your ovulation peak. In your case, you may actually ovulate a little earlier since your last cycle was 26 days long--give or take 1-2 days.

So, I would suggest focusing on sex between days 12-15 after the first day of your period. Try not to make sex a chore, but enjoy it. Stressing out over something as conceiving a child is easy to do but can certainly interfere with conception. Personally, what my husband and I did was change out state of mind from "trying to have a baby" to enjoying our sex life and if we got pregnant, great!

Good luck and definitely keep us posted!
