Thank you for your question. Missed periods even for a prolonged time is pretty common. Women's bodies just change over time and for no good reason, we may miss periods for months. I have done this many times in my life and even up to 8 months at a time with no period.

Go back to your physician. They can administer a blood test to be sure you are not pregnant and also they can prescribe you something to force your period to start. Don't be alarmed as there my be nothing wrong, but just in case, go back to your physician as you are mentioning symptoms that are common to pregnancy.
