We have had this exact question asked, with many responses....including expert medical doctors weighing in. You can read the discussion at: Is it normal for a mole to just suddenly appear on your skin?. This woman noticed a mole/dark spot on her toddler, and the medical experts discussed the types of moles/dark spots that are normal vs. those that should be medically evaluated.
