Did anyone ever answer your question? If not I am here to say yes. They both have the same signs and symptoms and Flagyl is prescribed for both. There is no way for the MD to know for sure which one it is without a test. I recommend not having sex until it is cleared up because you will just pass it back and forth to each other. Im a nursing student and have in front of me several power points, notecards and books spread out preparing for my exam on this subject. But what do I know. Jk. Hope everything worked out.
