Deciding to have a hysterectomy is tough, I know. You have had a long journey of difficulty in this area and I'm glad that you seem settled with this decision. Will they also take your ovaries, or will they leave them in? If they take them out, have they discussed with you the fact that you will go into menopause immediately? Has anyone talked with you about whether you are interested in hormone replacement therapy of any kind? When is your surgery scheduled?
