I had a subtalar fusion with ligament reconstruction in Jan of 2012 and here I am now almost 2 years later and it still hurts! Sometimes it "locks" and I can't walk normal for a bit... It's VERY depressing! I'm only 25 and my husband is a soldier so you can imagine his level of activity and I feel like I can never keep up with him no matter how hard I try! I wonder sometimes if I made a huge mistake having this surgery because it feels worse now then preop! The only difference is if I fall now I don't break my foot :/
