It's a very hard situation you're in. Especially since it has to be your decision as to whether he leaves or stays, or comes back to your home. Perhaps next time, if there is a next time, one of your conditions is that the two of you go to couples counseling before you consider moving back in together? He probably won't like the idea of it, but it will show you whether he has a commitment to making the relationship work. You are worth more than this, and your son is, too. Sometimes all we can do is take baby steps, but as long as we take them, they add up to be big changes.
