Hi Ellie - I'm not sure what you mean by aortic pulsation. Are you asking about the possibility of an aortic aneurysm - a weak spot in the wall of the aorta, the primary artery that carries blood from the heart to the head and extremities? The most common symptom is a throbbing, or pulsation, in the abdomen. Sometimes, abdominal or lower back pain occurs. Does this sound like what you've been experiencing? If so I suggest that you refrain from hard exercise for the time being and contact your doctor's office to let them know your symptoms.

You will find more information about the causes, symptoms and treatments on our reference page: https://www.empowher.com/media/reference/aortic-aneurysm#symptoms

Ellie, it's really hard to tell if this is what you're dealing with, but if you feel that it is after reading the reference page then it would be in your best interest to see your doctor as soon as possible due to the possibility of rupture.

Good luck to you, and please let us know what you learn so that we can learn from you. We wish you the best. Pat
